Anchor Cove, the new community of townhome-style condominiums at Marina Bay by Signature Properties, was welcomed to Richmond at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 26th. Joining Signature Properties' President, Michael Ghielmetti at the ceremony were Richmond Mayor, Irma L. Anderson and Steve Duran, Director of the Richmond Community Development Agency. The Master of Ceremonies was Richmond City Manager, Bill Lindsay.
The Marina Bay master-planned community is one of the city of Richmond's most prized residential, office and light industrial locations. The area's many amenities include several miles of the San Francisco Bay Trail, a 750-boat marina and a shoreline esplanade.
"The city of Richmond wants to thank Signature Properties for having the vision to see that the Richmond shoreline is the jewel of the East Bay," said Richmond Mayor, Irma L. Anderson. "The city also appreciates that some of the funds generated from home sales go toward much needed revitalization projects in the downtown area."
"Signature Properties was attracted to Richmond because of the people and the community," said Michael Ghielmetti, president of Signature Properties. "The Richmond shoreline truly is a gem. We're excited to be part of the revitalization of the city and part of this beautiful community here by the water."
